Boldon Crossing is on Newcastle-Sunderland line where line crosses a 'B'road in the Boldon area. Co-incidently, it is also where I saw my first ever loco (a named 'V2') in 1957.
Now mainly Tyne/Wear metro trains, but also regional railways
