DR 754O5/75401 worked in from Ravensthorpe. A new crossover had been put in and the track machine had been on tamper duties. It reversed in Huddersfield and returned to Holbeck Loco Sidings.
Today in Huddersfield in the time I was there. the workings were as follows
2x Northern units on the Sheffield
2x Northern units on the Bradford Interchange
5x Transpennine express workings
5x Rail Replacement buses on Huddersfield to Leeds and Huddersfield to Manchester Airport services
All a bit of a waste of time!
The really bad news is that the Station Buffet on Platform 4 closes for good on Saturday 18th February.
The end of an era, such a sad occasion.It will be greatly missed.
