I stayed in Ipswich for three nights, I had a Day Rover ticket on Friday and Saturday visiting, Cambridge, Ely, Norwich, and Great Yarmouth, apart from the weather on Friday a good time was had travelling round. I saw two Freightliner liveried 08 shunters on the depot at Ely 08691 was one of them does anyone know what the other one is please.
Also in the sidings at Great Yarmouth there were two 08 shunters one had the number HO50 Weardale Railway inscribed on it, does anyone know what number it carried in its BR days and also what the number is of the other shunter. I have only noted the numbers of the locos that I saw plus any Greater Anglia and Great Northern EMUs.
